Dance Floors Worth Crossing explores collective gathering, sound as intimacy, and what the dance floor means for Black freedom. It features oral histories from Kaleena Zanders, Pattie Kane, Selek Kae, and Lauren Spalding. This installation showcases Black women who DJ as essential story tellers who use technology as a tool to portray the realities of Black life.

1) The Supermarket's main entrance is located at 638 N Highland Ave NE. Our door is in between Big Softie and Collette's Bakeshop leading you down a hallway and a staircase.
2) Need less stairs? Have a stroller or use a walking aid? Use our secondary entrance in the middle of Otto's parking lot. The door is black and leads you through a courtyard. (Note: this door is currently open until 7pm then becomes an exit only.)
3) Need a fully accessible entrance without any stairs? We have a back entrance in a public alleyway behind the building. You can enter the alley off of North Ave NE or from Otto's parking lot. Our entrance is the white door at the corner of the building.Note: While we don't have dedicated parking there are plenty of options in the area. See our map for more info!
