Boundary Lines invites viewers to actively engage with complex themes, question the status quo, and imagine new ways of living in harmony with our environment and each other.
Whether physical, ideological, or ecological— creating boundaries defines and often disrupts the delicate equilibrium necessary for coexistence. The artists featured in Boundary Lines explore our relationship to the global society and how our actions rapidly shape it and, in turn, shape us. Their works investigate the tensions between growth and conservation, the human need for industry, and the imperative to protect our planet's ecological systems. Collectively, they offer insights into our current reality while prompting us to envision a future where the boundaries we create foster coexistence and resilience rather than division and destruction.
Curated collaboratively by The Bakery Atlanta, The Curator's Studio, and Labyrinth Curation and presented at The Supermarket, this diverse group of Atlanta-based artists—offers a visual dialogue on the pressing issues of our time, ensuring a representation of various perspectives.
This collaborative engagement features emerging and established Atlanta-based artists who present a visual dialogue of our global society. Together, we created an exhibition of contemporary work that speaks to the complexities of humanity's current circumstances, where industry and ecology coalesce.
