Join us for a show 20 years in the making! The You Uninterrupted Art Installation is finally here, and the artist, Julia Kim, couldn’t be more excited to share it.
This current phase of the project has been shaped by a conscious effort to center AAPI voices. While the artist has welcomed and collected story cards from individuals of all backgrounds, the focus on AAPI perspectives reflects a desire to challenge the persistent stereotype that members of the AAPI community remain silent or unseen.
Over the past few months, the artist has found personal healing in reading the stories submitted to the project. These responses reflect bravery, vulnerability, and a shared humanity that the installation seeks to amplify.
The You Uninterrupted opening reception will take place on July 11 from 6–9 PM with free admission. The installation will remain open through the weekend and everyone is encouraged to come. Bring your friends, your family, your community.
