The Therapeutic Artist’s Resource invites you to a transformative night at The Supermarket, alive with 15+ interactive installations, participatory performance, art-making altars, and treasures waiting in our gallery.
Guests are invited to "step into yOur Core’s Lore with where art meets the resonant pulse of your own becoming," with a therapeutic technique developed by founder Orion Crook to access the felt, imaginal center of the nervous system and explore what we do with it. Every ticket holder will receive a 20-minute guided meditation to begin this journey.
Expect regenerative music flowing throughout the night, a gallery wall of works for sale, and a fundraising auction.
About The TAR Project:The TAR Project, founded in 2016, is a Therapeutic Artist Residency that provides selected individuals a range of therapeutic support, including a year of free individual and group therapy sessions, and resources for supplies. The project has evolved into a nonprofit whose mission is dedicated to the therapeutic power of the art experience, pursued through programs that catalyze accessible programs, resources, creative studios, and events that center queer and transgender identities, so that all people can experience the healing and regenerative power of art.
