ZINES are little self-published works that have been a key part of the DIY outsider-art scene for decades, and now it's your turn to make some! Zines can cover anything from silly topics like your favorite band or most hated vegetables to important concepts like social justice movements you're passionate about.
Join The Bakery Atlanta and local artist Malopeach for a DIY zine-making workshop, where we'll share supplies/tips/inspiration, and anything else you may need to bring your zine idea to life.
Whether it's your first time delving into the art form or you're a veteran zine-crafter, this workshop is a perfect chance to mingle with other zine enthusiasts and get those creative vibes flowing. And if you've already got a few zines under your belt, bring a few copies along to trade with your fellow participants. Let's bust out those scissors and glue sticks, get wild and creative!

🚪 The Supermarket’s main entrance is located at 638 N Highland Ave NE. Our door is between Big Softie and Colette Bakeshop leading you down a hallway and a staircase. See a helpful map here and watch our reel on Instagram here!
🚪 Need less stairs? Use our secondary entrance in the middle of Otto’s parking lot. The decorative black metal door leads you through a courtyard. Be quiet when leaving events this way after dark as this is a residential courtyard. Note: this entrance has a few stairs.
♿ Need no stairs? No problem! We have a back entrance in a public alleyway behind the building. You can enter the alley from Otto’s parking lot. Look for “The Supermarket ADA / Loading” signage on the building to guide you. Our rear entrance is the mural door at the SW corner of the building. Can't find it? Call for assistance at (404) 458-1738.
🚘 Nearby Parking and Prices:
- Limited Parking spots in front of The Shops at Otto's on N. Highland Ave. Must register with ParkMobile. Free for 1 hr before 6pm. Paid after 6pm. (Zone# 3241)
- Small lot beside Otto’s Apartment Hotel at N. Highland and Blue Ridge. Must register with ParkMobile. (Zone# 3240). Do not park in 'resident only' spots.
- Public lot at N. Highland and Ponce (behind and in front of Plaza Theatre). "Scan to Pay" signs. Mon-Sat: 7am-10pm. Free for 15 min. $5 for 1hr, +$1 for each added.
- Six story deck at 675 N. Highland Ave. $5-$6 for up to 2hr, +$1 for each hr added. $14 daily max.
